Andre Bogach – tenor

Andre was born in Ukraine and began his vocal studies at the Georg Ots Tallinn Music School. Under the guidance of Eda Zahharova, he continued his training privately and later studied in the vocal class of Prof. Mati Palm at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre.

He pursued advanced studies for five years at the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory in Milan, where he trained under Prof. Christina Rubin. Andre has actively participated in numerous international competitions, earning awards and distinctions.

He further refined his artistry through private lessons with the legendary tenor Gianfranco Cecchele, whose mentorship deeply shaped his vocal and artistic identity. In addition, he took part in masterclasses with distinguished figures such as Giacomo Aragall, broadening his interpretive and stylistic range.

Andre has performed leading roles in several notable productions. He appeared as the protagonist in G. Raffa’s opera Gitana, premiered in Italy at Teatro Drapia in Tropea and Teatro Lirico Cilea in Reggio di Calabria. He also portrayed Don José in Bizet’s Carmen in Bologna, Italy. Additionally, he took part in Nino Rota’s opera Napoli Milionaria at Teatro Goldoni di Livorno, Teatro di Pisa, and Teatro di Lucca. In Respighi’s La bella dormente nel bosco, he performed the role of Il Principe.

His versatile repertoire includes major tenor roles such as Don José (Bizet, Carmen), Alfredo (Verdi, La Traviata), Pinkerton (Puccini, Madama Butterfly), Mario Cavaradossi (Puccini, Tosca), and Riccardo (Verdi, Un ballo in maschera).
